2024 New Zealand Mixed Foursomes Championship

Dates: Saturday 26 – Sunday 27 October 2024

Venue: Walton Golf Club, Waikato

Welcome!

The 2024 New Zealand Amateur Mixed Foursomes Championship will venture to the mighty Waikato region and the friendly country course of Walton.  The event will be managed by PaR nz Golfing Holidays under the auspices of Golf New Zealand.

The tournament is held over the October Labour Long Weekend with Walton as the 2024 host club:  Walton Golf Club, founded in 1922, is an open club of 400 golfers principally enjoying the facilities for good sport in an ideal New Zealand environment whilst supporting their rural community at large. Located in central Waikato, mid-way between Morrinsville and Matamata, members come from the local rural community, both towns, Cambridge, Hamilton, Te Aroha and all parts in between.  The course is well laid out with some undulations and testing greens.

All players will be seeded by handicap into divisions of eight, for three (3) rounds of foursome’s match play. The top division will play off the stick foursomes match play with the remainder of the field playing handicap foursomes match play.

The programme includes a welcome happy hour on the Friday, breakfast before play on Saturday and lunch with prize giving after the final round on Sunday. This is a relaxed, fun but competitive format and a great opportunity to escape and enjoy the highlights of the central Waikato area.

The field will be limited to the first 128 paid entries received.
