Happy New Year

Welcome to 2023 and Happy New Year from the PaR nz Team!

It was turkey and pork with all the trimmings for us at Xmas plus our usual ‘debate’ over who makes the best pavlova – Aussies v Kiwis (Aussies of course?)

We hope all enjoyed their Xmas with friends and family and are now looking forward to the start of a more positive, happy and healthy year – 2023! If you follow such things – we are now in the ‘Year of the Rabbit’ a symbol of longevity, peace, and prosperity in Chinese culture – go the bunnies!

Thank so much for those that travelled and supported us in 2022 – we are ready to take on 2023!

We start the year with the launch of another Golf Tour to Tasmania set for Nov/Dec 2023. We have already a long list of keen golfers wanting to travel and play Barnbougle so get in early to join this very popular 11-day tour.

Just launched at Xmas was our 2 Fiji tournaments – the Sheraton Fiji Denarau Women’s Golf Classic (5-12 August) and Sheraton Fiji Villa Teams Challenge (12-19 August) – early bird discounts apply if you enter by 20 February 2023 and a huge bonus if you enter both!

In January we are camped in the Bay of Plenty. First off is PaR nz hosting Golf New Zealand’s Men’s & Women’s Mid-Amateur at Omanu 13-15 January. Then the ever popular Barfoot & Thompson Bay of Plenty 5 Course Classic for 16-20 January. Already 321 entries have been received, places still available for both.

February we are off to Whakatane for Golf NZ Women’s Seniors – hottest ticket in town with about 30 Aussies crossing the ditch to play. Open to women golfers 50+ and all handicap levels. Limited places still available due to some recent withdrawals.

March we will be in the Naki at Inglewood GC for the 2023 Golf NZ Women’s Autumn Foursomes – entries only just opened, come on in girls. March 27-31 is the Mount Michael Central Otago Autumn Golf Classic – a multi-course event hosted by the 5 clubs Alexandra, Arrowtown, Cromwell, Queenstown, Wanaka – already 280 golfers registered, new entries welcome.

If you are keen to travel internationally in 2023 – the PaR nz Team has hosted tours to South Africa in May (reserve list in play and taking expressions of interest for 2024), The Open @ Royal Liverpool in July with 8 days at St Andrews to follow, Fiji in August and Spain, Portugal, Morocco in October – places are limited but still available due to late cancellations.

Early in the New Year look out for exciting new international destinations and tours for 2024.

Happy New Year from the PaR nz Team
