2024 Sheraton Fiji Villa Teams Challenge - Rd 3 complete.

Only 3 points separate the top teams with a pile of others backed up tight at the top. Full score board as below - scoring by the original ISTAS modified stableford system that changes handicaps daily.  Leading the charge is the team known as the Bay of Plenty Steamers. Captained by Graeme Murphy (Tara iti), along with John Taylor (Te Arai) and two Mount members Peter Cooney and Tom Preston - after 3 rounds they have amassed 651 PaR nz points.

One point behind lie the Hopefuls – Bruce and Pam Nixon (Tieke & Cambridge) along with their good buddies the Bodles, Tim & Karen – also Cambridge members.

On 648 PaR nz points in 3rd place, holding on by one point is the Reckless Drivers #2 -  another team from the mighty Waikato.  Tieke members Mark & Kim Higgie with Brendon & Anita Lafferty from Cambridge.

Final round tees off at the Denarau Golf & Racquet Club at 9.00am, shot gun start.  With 51 of the 108 players playing better or equal to their starting handicap’s – it still is anyone’s game with all four team members scores counting in the 4-round tournament.   Much movement can and has happened – watch this space.
